Give Me Something to Look Forward to

It's not going to be easy to leave Chicago. Chicago will go out with a fight. I didn't realize the extent until the Robert Pollard show tonight at the Metro. It had nothing to do with the show. The show was mediocre at best, but as has been the case for the last week or two, I couldn't hold myself back from looking around. This was probably one of my last shows at the Metro. I went there first my freshman year of college and that's pretty much all I know. I have been going for 8 years since.
I met four guys tonight from the Twin Cities at the Metro. They are good cities, I know. These few drove down from the Twin Cities for the show and I recognized at least one from the last new year's GBV show. They said that they wouldn't mind being friends with me. That sounds Minnesota nice to me.
